Maureen A. Degnan passed away on Sunday July 23, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Lockport on September 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (nee Stranges) Corrallo. Maureen was the Director of the Hare & Tortoise Child Development Center and was a teacher at Happy Times Daycare. She taught Art at DeSales Catholic School and was the Owner of the White Caps and Roses shop in Olcott, NY. Maureen was an accomplished artist and devoted most of her time to her family.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Degnan; mother of Aaron (Heidi) Clarke, Jonas Clarke, and Amy (John) Biasucci; grandmother of Maxwell and Zachary Clarke, Madison and Macie Clarke, and Amelia and Nicholas Biasucci. She was the sister of Beth (Neil) Merritt, Susan (Raymond) Szyjka, Charlene (Tim) O’Donnell and Christopher (Jill) Corrallo. Maureen is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 27th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
