AMITY — A 36-year-old Scio woman was charged Saturday with DWI following a two-car collision in a convenience store parking lot.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a reported fender bender in the parking lot of Crosby’s service station involving a truck that had backed into a parked car. Upon interviewing the operator of the truck, Marcy K. Empson, Troopers determined her to be intoxicated. She was taken to the Amity Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .12 percent blood alcohol content.
Empson was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Amity Court on Wednesday.
