PITTSFORD — Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) won a pair of events, including shattering the school record in the 1,500-meter run for Buffalo State today at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic.

Kordrupel broke the school record in the 1,500-meter run by nearly eight seconds with a winning time of 4:42.75.  She also won the 800-meter run in 2:20.37. Elizabeth Wall (Horseheads/Horseheads) raced to a victory in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:44.44. Dayonna Holmes (Rochester/Charlotte) was second in the long jump (5.44m). Satin Holmes (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) was runner-up in the 100-meter dash (12.99), and placed fifth in the 200-meter dash (26.85). Dajah Plummer (Cambria Heights/QHST) crossed third in the 100-meter dash (13.01), and was eighth in the 200-meter dash (27.02). Keanna McKnight (Queens/Springfield Gardens) added a sixth-place showing in the 200-meter dash (26.91).

Buffalo State will compete in the SUNYAC Championships next Friday and Saturday at Cortland.
