LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The Niagara men’s golf team completed the second round of the MAAC Championships on Saturday. The team carded a 305 (+17) total and moved up one spot to sit in eighth place after 36 holes of play.

Christian Nizamis continued to lead Niagara. He shot 74 (+2) in round two, shaving seven strokes off his round one score. He jumped up 16 spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 13th going into tomorrow’s final round.

Ben Conroy also jumped up 16 spots. He carded a 74 (+2) in round two for a two-round score of 156 (+12) and is tied for 17th place.

Daniel Weimer shot 77 (+5) for a two-day total of 161 (+17). He is tied for 32nd place.

Nicco Gentile carded an 80 (+8) in round two and Ryan Mihok carded an 86 (+14). Gentile is in 37th place and Mihok is in 44th place.

The final round of the tournament will be played on Sunday, April 23. It will be broadcast live on ESPN3 starting at 10:00 a.m.
