TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 47-year-old Lockport woman is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of two property damage auto accidents, failure to keep right and operating with no head lamps after New York State Police say she struck two vehicles.

Troopers responded to a report of a sick or intoxicated driver traveling eastbound on SR-93 in the Town of Lockport that had just struck two motor vehicles. Troopers located the suspect vehicle on Royalton Center Road in the Town of Royalton a short time later. The operator, identified as Dione T. Psorakis, was determined to be intoxicated and transported to SP Lockport for processing where she refused to consent to a breath test.

Psorakis was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court where she was remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $2,000.00 cash bail. She is due to reappear in court at a later date.
