Yolanda Louise Thompson went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2017. Born to Italian immigrant parents in Lockport on July 5, 1940, she was a lifelong western New York resident.

Known to family and friends as “Yolly”, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but most of all, she loved the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard A. Thompson, son Stephen Thompson of Nashville, TN and daughter Shari (Joseph) Hahn of Pendleton, NY, grandchildren Adam Hahn of Charlotte, NC, Aaron Hahn, Sarah (Abraham) Kuehn and Elizabeth (Michael) Hermann, all of Lockport and great grandchildren Rachel, Broderick, Amos, Gwenevere and Layla. Brother of Carl (Lee) Luberti of Akron, NY and sister Edie Aldridge of Las Vegas, NV as well as the late Mary (Donald) McArthur and Rene (Paul) Coleman, both of FL as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY on Saturday, April 16, 2017 from 10 am-12 pm with a service following at 12 pm.
