BUFFALO — A three-game sweep of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders gives the Buffalo Bisons a 3-0 start to the season. It only took back-to-back comeback wins to do it.

Game One today saw a closely contested contest with strong pitching on both ends and Buffalo trailing at the bottom of the final inning. Then Christian Lopes knocked  one out for a game-winning walk-off home run giving the Bisons the 4-3 win.

Game Two started slow for the Bisons as they found themselves in a 3-0 deficit after one inning. But the Herd rallied for six runs in the fourth inning. The RailRiders tied it in the fifth, but two more runs by Buffalo in the fifth and another in the sixth gave Buffalo a 9-6 win.

The Bisons return to action Monday afternoon with a 1:05 p.m. showdown with the Rochester Red Wings, who are also 3-0 after sweeping the Syracuse Sky Chiefs this weekend.
