ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Niagara women’s golf team completed the Navy Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The team improved three strokes from the first round, carding a two-day total of 723 (+147) to finish in 11th place.
Emily Doyle finished tied for 43rd. She shaved eight strokes off her round one score, firing a 36-hole total of 174 (+30).
Selena Cerra and Daniella Hopper both carded a 177 (+33) total and finished tied for 50th place.
Britteny Purcell shot a 195 (+51) total and finished in 61st place and Samantha Bernardo shot a 217 (+73) and finished tied for 62nd.
The Purple Eagles are back in action on Thursday when they play a match at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa.
