Donald R. Barrancotta passed away April 4, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born January 11, 1940 in Lockport he was the son of Charles and Ida (Annalora) Barrancotta. Donald served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963. He worked for Harrison Radiator in production and was a gentleman farmer. Don enjoyed his dogs, golfing, and was a NY Yankees fan. He was predeceased by his wife Donna (Wright) Barrancotta on March 21, 2015.
Don is survived by his two sons, Anthony Barrancotta and James (Sherry) Barrancotta; his brother, Phillip (Dorothy) Barrancotta and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Innazio “Nashe” Barrancotto, Salvatore Barrancotta, Thomas Barrancotta, Vincent Barrancotta, and sisters Virginia Hughes and Anita Hanson.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, April 7th from 6-8 PM where services will follow at 8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
