LATHAM — Several members of the New York Army National Guard hailing from Western New York have received promotions in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announced the promotions, including:

  • Jacob Bacho from Silver Creek and assigned to the Company A, 642nd Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • James Brennan from Rochester and assigned to the Company A, 2-108th Infantry received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • William Cody from Niagara Falls and assigned to the Headquarters, 153rd Troop Command (Brigade) received a promotion to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5.
  • Stefanie Demanincor from Webster and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Tyler Erdley from Hamburg and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • James Fiorilli from Pittsford and assigned to the Intelligence and Sustainment Company, 42nd Infantry Division received a promotion to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5.
  • Alexander Hadsall from Darien Center and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Aaron Hart from Kenmore and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Kyle Heitzenrater from Gowanda and assigned to the Company A, 642nd Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Thomas Leggat from Albion and assigned to the Company A, 2-108th Infantry received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Edward Logel from Grand Island and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Ernest Minichello from Grand Island and assigned to the Headquarters, 153rd Troop Command (Brigade) received a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
  • Richard Near from Westfield and assigned to the Company A, 642nd Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
  • Raul Nieves from Rochester and assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Ben Ngo from Buffalo and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Private.
  • Carl Owens from Buffalo and assigned to the Company C (Signal), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
  • Devin Parker from Salamanca and assigned to the B Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Brandon Peace from Rochester and assigned to the Headquarters and Service Company, 642nd Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Pearson Proctor from West Seneca and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Benjamin Regester from Newfane and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
