BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reports his office made four arrests over the weekend of people charged with driving while intoxicated.

Around 9 p.m. on Friday, Deputy Zamorek stopped a vehicle on Sharp Street near Genesee Road in the Town of Concord for speeding. The deputy determined that Aaron Kephart, 41 of Concord, was intoxicated and charged him with aggravated DWI. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .18 percent. He was also charged with speeding, moving from a lane unsafely, and drinking alcohol in a vehicle on a roadway before being released to a third party. He has a future Concord Town Court appearance scheduled.

Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Deputies Christian and Hyde responded to a complaint of a vehicle in a ditch along Quaker Road in the Town of North Collins. While interviewing the driver, Michael Renowden, 27 of Collins, they determined him to be intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, moving unsafely from a lane, and failing to produce an insurance card. Renowden was issued tickets and later was released.

Aroudn 2:58 a.m. Saturday in the Town of Clarence, Deputy Biegasiewicz initiated a traffic stop on Eastbrooke Place for vehicle and traffic violations. The operator, Samir Desai, 36 of Williamsville, was determined to be intoxicated and charged with DWI, failing to use the designated lane, and using the improper lane. He was released to a family member.

Finally, around 2:29 a.m. Sunday, vehicle and traffic violations led to Deputy Zamorek to initiate a traffic stop on Olean Road in the Town of Holland. Following a brief investigation, Owen Wrazen, 23 of Arcade was charged with aggravated DWI, following too close, speeding, and two other traffic infractions. Wrazen was issued tickets and released to a third party.
