In 1981, she married Joseph Caruso of Marlboro, NY. She was a devoted mother of two children and a loving grandmother to three grandchildren. Marilyn was fearless, adventurous, strong-willed and “did it her way”. She loved her days boating on the Hudson with her husband and children. Marilyn drove her boat “Gadget” 1000 miles through the Erie Canal, the St. Lawrence and Lake Champlain. Marilyn also loved her home in Staatsburg, NY and was affectionately known as “Mama C” by her children’s friends, who attended many pool parties. She is survived by her husband Joseph, son Matthew and wife Stephanie, daughter Jillian and husband Mario, granddaughters Grace, Ava, and grandson Enzo.
A burial service will be held this Monday 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1872 Salt Point Turnpike, Salt Point, NY 12578. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a cause of your choice.
