CHICAGO — Buffalo’s own Patrick Kane netted two assists and then the overtime winner as the Chicago Blackhawks downed the Buffalo Sabres in overtime Thursday night, 4-3.

Marcus Foligno, Kyle Okposo and Jack Eichel scored for the Sabres.

The Sabres next play at 1 p.m. Saturday when the Winnipeg Jets visit KeyBank Center.
