Gerald F. Weaver passed away on Friday December 23, 2016, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on October 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Alice (nee Pless) Weaver. Gerald served in the US Army from 1964 until 1966. He owned Pies Furniture, where he started working in the warehouse and eventually became the owner, he had worked for the past 53 years. Gerald was a member of the American Legion and loved playing golf and poker.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia (nee Stauder) Weaver; father of Martin (Debbie Ritz) Weaver, Steven (Heather Sherman) Weaver and Michael (Dia McCloud) Weaver; grandfather of Amanda, Alex, Samantha, Jake, Madison and Emily. Gerald was the brother of Linda (Raymond) Brown and the late Nancy Smith, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday December 28th from 4 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
