Dolores M. Chausse passed away December 19, 2016 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Lockport on July 20, 1939 she was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Perfetta) Savittiere. Dolores worked for NY Telephone Co. where she was an operator and also was a cook at RAE’s Donut Shop. She enjoyed spending time with her great nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Melvin Chausse in 2009 and also by her infant daughter Karen Marie in 1963.
Dolores was the sister of the late Joseph Savittiere, Mary Cioffi, Jenny Colombo, and Rosemary Godfrey. She is survived by her niece Theresa (Jerry) O’Brien and nephews John (Lisa) Godfrey and Steven Godfrey; great aunt of Alex (Lauren) Cappola, Andrew (Yvonne) Godfrey, Tyler Godfrey, and Jacob Godfrey; and her dear friend and care giver Terri (Ray) Bedford.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 22nd from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be held Friday, Dec. 23rd at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
