Father of Tom, Ron (Linda) Mufford, Linda (David) Kozubal, and Lisa (Jim) Logel. Brother of Marcy Anderson. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Harold served in the United States Army Airforce, he flew on B-29s in World War II. He retired from Harrison Radiator after forty plus years of service.
Harold was the mayor of Middleport from 1979-1985. He helped start the Middleport Recreation Commission and was on the Hartland Central Cemetery board of trustees and a Middleport Village trustee for many years. He was an active member of Clute-Phillips American Legion Post #938.
The family will be present on Tuesday (Dec 27th) from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Bates Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY to receive friends and family. A memorial service by the Clute-Phillips American Legion Post #938 will take place at 7pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday (Dec 28th) at 10am at the funeral home, burial will follow at Hartland Central Cemetery.
