SILVER CREEK — A 26-year-old Jamestown man was charged on Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 20.According to New York State Police, Joshua Lanphere was in a vehicle that was pulled over for speeding. Troopers observed a marijuana smoking pipe in the vicinity of Lanphere. After determining the pipe belonged to Lanphere he was placed under arrest. Lanphere was issued an appearance ticket and the driver was issued a speeding ticket, both returnable to the Village of Silver Creek Court next month.
