Alma Conley passed away on Tuesday, November 29th in Hospice care at age 98. Born January 15, 1918 in the Town of Niagara she was the daughter of Herman and Phroena (Platt) Bencene. Alma worked for Harrison Radiator in production. She was predeceased by her husband James C. Conley; mother of Patricia (Donald) Kaufman, Paul (Carol) Rooney, James (Maureen) Conley, Jr., and Douglas (Rosemary) Conley; grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 17; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was active in the Dale Association. Alma enjoyed bridge knitting, golfing, and was an accomplished organist. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 1st from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 2nd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.
