Leon H. “Popeye” Pratt passed away November 14, 2016 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Claridge, PA on January 15, 1930 he was the son of Timothy R. and Mary Jane (Taylor) Pratt. Leon served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954 and worked for Roswell Park Cancer Institute where he was a health and safety officer retiring in March of 1991. He was a life long fan of Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, cooking, carpentry, playing guitar, and country western music.

Leon is survived by his wife Ruth A. (Johnson) Pratt; father of Timothy (Betsy) Pratt and late Terry Lee Palmer; grandfather of five and great grandfather of six; brother of the late Robert, Norman, John, Ronald and Mae Pratt.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
