AMHERST — A Buffalo woman was charge with driving while intoxicated following a Main Street traffic stop.
According to New York State Police, Tasheia Williams was driving east on Main Street when she was pulled over for having a headlight out. Troopers report smelling an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from Williams, who failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody where she provided a breath sample of .18 percent blood alcohol content. Williams was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
She was released on appearance tickets to return to Amherst Court later this month.
