GENESEO — Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) placed 27th of 113 runners as Buffalo State wrapped up 2016 season today at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by Geneseo at Letchworth State Park, placing 19 points ahead of Potsdam for ninth of 10 teams.

Kordrupel was the first Bengal to complete the 6K course with a time of 23:22. Elizabeth Wall (Horseheads/Horseheads) was next to cross the line for Buffalo State, placing 73rd in 25:17, and Jaclyn Tedesco (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill) was 82nd in 25:47. Kayleigh Bystrak (Alden/Iroquois) and Brittany Higgs (Buffalo/Olmstead #156) finished consecutively in 100th and 101st in 27:30 and 27:35 respectively to complete the scoring.

Buffalo State’s runners will now shift their focus to indoor track and field.
