BUFFALO — Buffalo police arrested three individuals Friday morning on drug charges.

Police say the incident happened just before 1 a.m. at Elmwood Avenue and Edward Street where Central District officers say during a routine traffic stop, three males were all found to be in possession of ziploc baggies, a plastic container and a glass jar all containing marijuana. Officers also say one of the defendants was in possession of cocaine.

Buffalo police arrested 40-year-old Eric Trafalski of Interlaken, 38-year-old Jeffery Kling of Buffalo and 37-year-old Scott Hopkins of Elma.

All three are charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Kling was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and introducing a contraband into prison.
