BUFFALO — If you’re looking for something Halloween-y to do tonight or tomorrow, North Park Theatre on Hertel Avenue has just the ticket — a double feature of Evil Dead movies — at 7 p.m. tonight and Sunday.
The movie pairing consists of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. If you’re wondering why not the original Evil Dead, it’s so similar to the second that it’s essentially unnecessary to understand the story. And many film aficionados consider the second to be superior.
Tickets for each film can be purchased individually or together. A double feature ticket includes a free refillable drink and two free posters.
The movies are part of a slate of Halloween offerings by the North Park Theatre, which includes Dracula, Abbott & Costello and Alfred Hitchcock.
