U.S. Veteran Walter White, 80, beloved husband and devoted father passed away on October 4, 2016.
Born on July 29, 1936 in Schenectady, NY. Walt graduated from Newfane Central Schools and worked at Harrison Radiator, retiring from EDS after 35 years. Walt was an instrumented part of building the Ransomville Speedway, was an avid NASCAR lover and enjoyed family vacations in Myrtle Beach for 35 years. Walt loved being busy in his garage and out in the yard.
Son of the late Mary and Walter White of Newfane. Survived by his loving wife Cookie White, son, Douglas (Toni) White, daughter Laura (Tim) Bruning, grandsons Evan and Cullen Bruning, dear cousin of Peter and Jackie Martin and family in Florida.
Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on SATURDAY 11-1PM where funeral services will be held at 1PM. Burial will be held in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
