BUFFALO — An 18-year-old Buffalo man was charged Monday with forcible theft with a deadly weapon, robbery, second-degree menacing, and criminal possession of stolen property. He reportedly stole a backback from a students waiting for a school bus.

It all happened around 9 a.m. Monday at Howard and Lewis streets, according to police, who say “two students were waiting for the bus when a van pulled up, the passenger jumped out of the vehicle, approached one of the students and demanded all of his stuff.”

Police later spotted a van matching the description given to them on the first block of Laux Street, where they apprehended Cale Klembczyk of Laux Street, who they say was armed with a gun.
Police apprehended him inside the van and recovered the backpack.
