BUFFALO — A 35-year-old Fredonia man has been charged with second-degree assault following an incident at Buffalo General Hospital early this morning.
BPD says Central District officers responded to the call just after midnight, finding an intoxicated male who had been transported to the hospital to be treated, but had become belligerent and combative with staff.
Authorities say at some point, the male, David L. Proctor, kicked a security guard, pushed a nurse and attempted to run out of the hospital before being apprehended by security.
