BUFFALO — The Medaille College 2016-17 “The Write Thing” reading series kicks off Sept. 29 with the college’s own Dr. Virginia A. Batchelor’s “Stop Calling Me That! My Name is Araminta.”
Bathelor’s work focuses on creativity and cultural competencies with an emphasis on teaching and learning strategies for classroom teachers.
Her most recent publications center on social issues that impact the lives of children and adolescents. Additionally, she is an international speaker and educator.
Batchelor is a Professor of Education at Medaille College.
