The Canisius College men’s soccer team travels to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this weekend to take part in the Duquesne Invitational. The Golden Griffins (1-3-0) are set to play Bucknell at 5 p.m. before taking the field against the host Duquesne Dukes at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Despite holding a 1-3-0 record this season, the Golden Griffins’ have been stout defensively, allowing only 43 shouts through the first four games of the 2016 season. On the flip side, the Griffs have recorded 63 shots this season, with 22 being on goal.

Dating back to last season, the Canisius defense has held its opponents to two-or fewer goals in 13 consecutive games. Redshirt-junior goalkeeper Marco Trivellato has played all 360:00 in goal this season for the Blue and Gold. He’s made 11 saves and starts this weekend with a 1.00 goals against average and .733 save percentage.
