LEWISTON — From the man that brought you “Floatilla 9,” featuring hundreds of people floating down the upper Niagara River on July 24, comes “Flash Floatilla,” an event featuring people floating from Lewiston to Youngstown on Saturday.
While the quickly-put-together “flash” version of the floatilla will no-doubt feature less people, it’s sure to be as much fun for participants.
Organizer Sal Anello says the event will launch between 11 a.m. and noon Saturday from Lewiston Landing and exit the river at 100 Hinman Street in Youngstown.
As with the previous floatilla, all participants are required to have a life vest.
