Audrey E. Powell passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 16, 2016. Born on December 30, 1929 to Elmer and Lorraine (Ricketts) LaJoie, Audrey married her husband of sixty-seven years on September 3, 1948.
Audrey will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. We will miss her laugh, hugs, and visits over a cup of coffee. She took great joy in sharing the fruits of her talent for crocheting, knitting, sewing, and needlework with those she loved. She very much enjoyed her fur-babies, collecting dolls and wintering in Pomano Beach, FL.
Predeceased by her husband Donald and her daughter Deborah (Samuel) Williams, she is survived by her three sons, Jon Scott (April) Powell of Gasport, Russell (Dawn) Powell of Newfane, and Todd (Primitiva) Powell of Lockport. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Staci Williams, Amy (Robert) Gromlovits, Jenny (Mark) Price, Sean (Jamie) Powell, Sarah Powell, Matthew (Jennifer) Powell, Kelly (Joshua) Jordan, and Jason Kubik. She is also Nana to fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
