PAWTUCKET, RI – Tommy Field and Adam Brett Walker combined for all five Rochester hits as the Red Wings fell 3-0 to the Pawtucket Red Sox Wednesday night at McCoy Stadium.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Red Wings (60-46) who fall 4.5 games behind the wild card lead and 7.5 behind the division leader.

Field has now reached base safely in 20 consecutive starts after finishing 2-for-4 from the lead off spot. Walker recorded his eighth game of at least three hits with four of those coming this month. The five hits were all singles for the Wings.

Rochester received a quality start from Jose Berrios (10-5) but it wasn’t enough. Pawtucket scored all three runs in the fourth inning by using three hits – two doubles and a single – and two walks. Chris Marrero and Jantzen Witte tallied the two-baggers for the PawSox.

Berrios only allowed five hits and two walks while striking out eight in 6.0 innings. The Red Wings struggled to get anything going against Robby Scott (4-3) who was making a spot start. Wednesday marked the second time in the last four games in which the Wings have failed to record an extra-base hit. Rochester did not have more than one man on base at any point during the game.
