NEWFANE — Route 78 in Newfane will be closed for up to four hours due to a downed tree, according to the New York State DOT.
The closure, from Ide Road to Wilson-Burt Road, should be cleared up by 4 p.m., according to officials. They suggest taking an alternate route.
EDIT: Route 78 was re-opened to traffic at 1:04 p.m.
