BUFFALO — The next Buffalo Reading Invasion will take place Monday at the southern edge of Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park.

The event — from 7 to 8 p.m. — asks participants to “brink a blanket or chair, something to read, someone to read with (or just come by yourself), and a picnic if you are so inclined.”

The concept is simple. Get together with like-minded individuals. Read for a while. Maybe make a friend. And go back from whence you came.
