TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 32-year-old Lockport man is facing charges including disorderly conduct, obstructing government administration, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana after an incident Sunday.

According to NYSP, James Lipscomb was charged after he approached a marked police vehicle that was stopped at a red light and began pounded on the window and running in traffic. When the Troopers approached Lipscomb he attempted to flee, running into the Arby’s parking lot. Lipscomb was arrested and also admitted to having a small amount of marijuana on him.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lockport, and was sent to Niagara County Jail. He has a court date later in the month.
