BUFFALO — Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with an overnight arson incident.
Northeast District officers responded to a report of an argument at a residence in the 3200 block of Bailey Avenue just after 1 a.m.
Officers say 21-year-old Samuel Roberts of Buffalo poured gasoline on the sidewalk leading to the residence and also poured gasoline inside while occupants were still there. Police say there was a small flame on the sidewalk.
Roberts was charged with second-degree arson, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief with an intent to damage property.
