NEWFANE — A crash on Lockport Olcott Road between Edward Avenue and Drake Settlement Road has closed the road for up to six hours, according to the New York State DOT.
The accident occurred around 4:35 p.m., according to officials.
A vehicle/pedestrian accident had occurred in the same vicinity around 4 p.m., resulting in Mercy Flight being called to airlift an injured party.
It is unclear at present if the two incidents are related. Or if in fact, they are the same incident.
