AMHERST — A 21-year-old Cheektowaga man was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Millersport Road.

According to New York State Police, Troopers pulled over a vehicle being driven by Joshua Kuhn after it sped by their vehicle, which was stationary running radar on Transit Road.

While interviewing Kuhn, Troopers determined him to be intoxicated. He was taken to SP Lockport for processing and found to have a .08 blood alcohol content.

Kuhn is due to appear in Town of Amherst Court later this month.
