BUFFALO — Buffalo Sabres newly acquired forward Kyle Okposo told the media this morning that he’s “excited to be here” in Buffalo.
The former New York Islander said he was drawn to Buffalo because it’s a young team. “The future is bright and I really believe we can win here.”
Okposo told the media he believes it’s possible to win the Stanley Cup in Buffalo with his new team.
“I’ve always liked playing in this building,” he said. “I’m excited to play in it and to call it home. And make it home the next number of years.”
The Sabres are in day two of their development camp, which runs through Tuesday.
