TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 48-year-old Gasport man has been charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, and third-degree criminal mischief in connection with a burglary at a Cold Springs Road business.
According to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour, Robert A. Abernathy is accused of burglarizing Great Lakes Media Blasting on Cold Springs Road on Feb. 1.
Abernathy was arraigned in Town of Lockport Court by Justice Leonard Tilney. Abernathy was ordered to be held without bail. He is set to return to court on Thursday to face the charges that came following an investigation conducted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Bureau.
