BUFFALO — A 20-year-old Alexander Street man pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder this week before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang.

According to Acting District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., Leonard Robinson, also known as POODER, murdered 42 year-old Antoin Vance inside of his home at 302 Purdy St. by shooting him with an illegal pistol after an argument over money on Nov. 29. Robinson also shot and injured 24 year-old Dominique Jackson, Vance’s niece who was an innocent bystander.

While fleeing the scene of the shooting, Robinson drove a car off of Humboldt Parkway, crashing onto the lower section of the Kensington Expressway with the vehicle landing upside down.

He was taken into custody in Los Angeles, California, where he was located through the joint effort of the US Marshalls Service and Buffalo Police Department. He faces a maximum prison sentence of 18 years-to-life in state prison when he is sentenced on July 20.
