BELMONT – A 43-year-old Belmont woman was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 19.

According to New York State Police, Troopers had been sent to investigate a complaint of an intoxicated driver at the Crosby’s service station. They found Pamala J. Ives and determined her to be intoxicated.

Ives was taken to the Amity State Police barracks and found to have a .15 percent blood alcohol content.

She was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear before the Village of Belmont Court on June 15.
