ALMA — A 29-year-old Alma man was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt, accused of violating an order of protection.
According to New York State Police, James L. Dickerson had placed a phone call to the home of a party that had the valid order of protection against him.
Dickerson was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing. He was arraigned before the Village of Bolivar court and then remanded to the Allegany County Jail before his Monday court appearance.
