BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the team has recalled forward Justin Bailey from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Bailey (6’3”, 210 lbs., 7/1/1995), who joins the Sabres on his third career recall, appeared in eight total games with the team during his first two recalls in February. He has compiled 17 points (9+8) in 15 AHL games since returning to Rochester on March 1.

In his first professional season, Bailey has recorded more goals (19) and assists (24) for the Americans than any other Rochester skater. His 43 points in 64 AHL games this season rank him 10th among all AHL rookies.

A Buffalo native, Bailey was selected by the Sabres in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft before finishing his OHL career with 148 points (76+72) in 168 games with the Kitchener Rangers and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
