Long Stitch Sketchbooks @ WNY Book Arts

$45 – $50
In this class, each member will create their own 5 signature sketchbook, roughly 4″ x 6″. They will learn general book binding vocabulary, as well as the processes that go into creating a sketchbook using the long stitch, start to finish. Each book will be customizable, with the options to pick your own thread color and decorative paper for the cover.
Cost: $50 / $45 Members, all materials included
Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided. Optional: come with an idea for your card, or be inspired by imagery in our Studio!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: KOALA MANNE
Koala (they/them) is a working artist here in Buffalo who received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY Fredonia in 2021. As an artist who focuses on pen drawing and oil painting, they have been hand binding their own sketchbooks for years, to suite their individual needs as an artist. Now, they bind sketchbooks for others too, with unique colors, bindings, and dimensions.
