After a hiatus due to Covid, the annual Farewell to Summer gala evening returns on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Invited to attend is The Most Rev. Michael Fisher, Bishop of Buffalo. The annual event will be held at Kiebzak’s Beginnings, 38 Crocker St., Sloan, NY. from 6 to 9 p.m. All proceeds will benefit “Seminarians of the Diocese of Buffalo.”

Rev. Richard Augustyn, Director of Pastoral Care/Volunteer Services at the Buffalo General Hospital and Director of the St. Jude Center for Pastoral Care and Wellness, is chairperson.

This event incorporates a sit down dinner, Chinese auction and split club raffle with all proceeds to be used to prepare men for the priesthood.

Tickets for the dinner are $40.00 per person and are available by mail. Please include a self addressed envelope together with check payable to St. Jude Center, c/o Edward J.
