Santa Claus is coming to town – YOUR town.

In anticipation of the holidays, Santa Claus is planning to visit several Amherst neighborhoods, courtesy of local volunteer fire departments.

Residents can look for Santa aboard a fire truck at the following times and locations:

• The East Amherst Fire Department will tour the area starting at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 21, 22 and 23.
• In the Eggertsville Fire District, Santa will visit neighborhoods in the entire district from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23. For further details and to view a map, visit the department’s Facebook page.
• Getzville firefighters will tour with Santa from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.
• The Main-Transit Fire Department will accompany Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24.
• Snyder Fire District residents will see Santa starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24.
• The Williamsville Fire Department will travel through the community with Santa from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Further details are on the department’s Facebook page.
