Chef T Adds a Fantastic Buffalo Stop on U.S. Tour

A celebrity chef on a U.S. tour is making a stop in Buffalo that’s expected to be fantastic! Chef Theresa Navarro from Confidence in Cooking has been traveling the country bringing together her love for food, travel, and personal connections. Chef T’s Culinary Train Journey is set to make a stop at 6 p.m. Thursday in Buffalo at Fantastic Friends of WNY where the chef will work with special needs “chefs in training.” As part of the culinary journey, Chef T has been engaging in local communities and conducting knife skills workshops with organizations across the country.

Fantastic Friends of WNY, Inc. is a volunteer driven 501(c)3 not-for-profit for special needs individuals of all ages. The organization’s Kitchen Life Skills class teaches safety in the kitchen as well as learning to prepare meals, creating independence, confidence, and the potential for future employment in a restaurant for the developmentally disabled.

Chef T’s Culinary Train Journey aims to make culinary education accessible to all. By incorporating knife skills workshops, individuals from diverse backgrounds and cooking experience can gain the confidence to wield their knives in the kitchen, creating more flavorful and satisfying meals for themselves and their loved ones.
