Loma “Rose” Patak, 78, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Born in Algood, TN, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Loma (Stover) Waddell; and beloved wife of Ernest Patak, Ret. NFPD, who she married in Detroit, MI in 1964.

Rose was raised in Detroit and came to the area in the early 1960s when her husband, Ernest was serving in the United States Air Force.  She was employed as the box office manager of Melody Fair in North Tonawanda for over 20 years.

Rose enjoyed playing Wednesday Bridge with her friends and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, especially of Josh Allen. She also liked going out to eat, shopping, as well as the going to the casino. Above all, Rose centered her life around her family.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, she is survived by her children, Lisa (fiancé Steve Zadon) Bolea and David Patak; her grandchildren, Briana (Nick) Downie and Rachel Bolea; her great-grandson, Noah Downie and many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her beloved dog, Jackson. She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers.
