At the age of 72, Michael was the beloved son of the late Mary (nee Mucha) and late Edmund Szynski.
Michael resided in the Lovejoy area for most of his life. Over the past 17 years, he lived with his cousin, Christine Mucha.
He is also survived by many cousins and his close friends Patricia, Kenneth and Stephanie Speaker, Linda Banks, Mike Hammon and Doug Landry.
He was predeceased by his Aunt Jean (Uncle Walter) Braczynski, Aunt Helen (Uncle Roy) Hoffman, Aunt Florence (Uncle Joseph) Kopec and Uncle Edward (Aunt Helen) Mucha
The family will be present Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) where services will be held Thursday at 9 AM and at St. Andrew Church at 9:30 AM.
Burial will take place at St. Matthews Cemetery in West Seneca, NY.
