Phillip G. Beith, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 26, 2022 at his residence. Born in Trucksville, PA, he was the son of the late George and Edna (Barene) Beith; and beloved husband of Latricia (Nuzum) Beith.

After graduating from high school in Pennsylvania in 1951, Phillip joined the U.S. Navy and served until his honorable discharge in 1955. The following year he moved to Niagara Falls where he was employed by Carborundum and Bell Aircraft before beginning his 33-year career with Monroe Systems for Business as a service manager for calculator and computer building.

Phillip was well-known for being a jack of all trades. Tinker, woodworker, radioman, musician, artist, writer, painter, and drawer were just a few of the creative hats he wore throughout his life. He was committed to the Masonic way of life and dedicated his time to practice charity to care for his community. Within the Masonry, Phillip served as a secretary fellowship for Masonic Lodge 1175, a secretary for Amherst Masonic Lodge 981, a manager for the Masonic Service Bureau, an editor for Masonic News, and a secretary for Masonic Valley of Buffalo and the regional monitor for the Rosicrucian Order Rana Lodge AMORC.  

In addition to his wife, Phillip is survived by his son, George J. (Christina) Beith; three stepchildren; his grandson, Phillip J., as well as six grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Phillip was predeceased by one stepchild, one sister, one grandchild and one niece.

Philip’s funeral services will be held at a later date at the First Congregation United Church, 132 North Street, Angola, NY. Interment will be held privately in Wilkes Barre, PA.
